Joyce Stevens was appointed to the DCA Board in 2010. She is the owner of The Stevens Group, a lobbying and consulting firm in operation since 1995. Stevens lives in Good Hope on the farm where she and her late husband, John, built a small cattle and crop operation that they enjoyed together for many years. She was also vice president of Sales, Marketing and Operations of Del-Cook Lumber Co. for 17 years and owned and operated Ten-Four, Inc., a wholesale lumber operation in South Georgia. She served on the executive committee of the Southeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association and Georgia-Florida Quality Pine Producers Association. She is a founding board member and past president of the Walton County Boys & Girls Clubs and is a member of both Walton County and Georgia Chambers of Commerce. Stevens is a graduate of Leadership Georgia and Leadership America.
